William Ostrowski is the President and Chief Executive Officer of MyDefence North America.
Previously, Bill served as President and CEO of both Klas Government and ELTA North America. His extensive corporate leadership also includes executive roles including Director, Spectral Systems Segment at L3Harris Technologies and Vice President, Global Sales and Business Development at FLIR Systems. Additionally, he has experience scaling several entrepreneurial start-ups.
Beyond corporate leadership, Bill has spearheaded advanced R&D initiatives for the Special Operations and Intelligence communities. His notable roles include Associate Director for Special Operations Systems at Draper Laboratory—where he also served as General Manager of the Draper Rapid Prototyping Center—and Senior Professional Staff at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
Bill is a retired US Army Special Forces Warrant Officer with 26 years of service. He retired as the Joint Special Operations Command Deputy Chief of Technical Operations in 2008. In the
Special Forces, Mr. Ostrowski participated in multiple tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, Philippines, and Africa.
He holds master’s degrees in economics from the University of Oklahoma and Computer Information Systems from Boston University. Active in the professional community, Bill serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the USF Electrical Engineering Department, the NDIA SO/LIC Division Board, and the Board of Directors for the nonprofit Warrior’s Ethos.
