Anna Bosma
Major: Economics
My name is Anna Bosma, and I am a junior from Stillwater, Oklahoma, studying Economics at Oklahoma State University. I am also receiving minors in Linguistics and International Business. Additionally, I am pursuing certificates in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and Computational Economics and Data Analysis. My time at OSU has awarded me the opportunity to study abroad twice, spending a semester at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, and completing a short-term program in the Netherlands. I am also a member of the Economics Society and German Club.
Currently, I am an Assistant Mentor at the LASSO Center, where I balance the duties of a Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader for Microeconomic Principles for Business with mentoring fellow SI Leaders. I also work as a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Macroeconomics. After graduation, I plan to pursue a master’s in international relations, specializing in the Asia-Pacific region and learning more about countries’ economies, relations, and political issues. I am sincerely thankful that I have been offered this scholarship, and I greatly appreciate those who have helped me succeed in my college career.
