Alexis Slabaugh

Major: Healthcare Administration

Alexis Slabaugh is a Healthcare Administration major at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. She is from Allen, Oklahoma, where she has been actively involved in her school and community. Alexis is known for her strong work ethic and her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.

She is passionate about the healthcare field and is dedicated to learning how to improve patient care and healthcare systems. Alexis’s interest in healthcare is deeply personal, as her own experiences and challenges with her health have inspired her to pursue a career where she can help improve the experiences and outcomes of others. She values opportunities to serve those around her and enjoys being involved in activities that promote growth and leadership.

She was recently inducted into the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business and is a member of the President’s Honor Roll. Alexis has also maintained a 4.0 grade point average throughout her college career, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence.

Alexis plans to use her degree in Healthcare Administration to pursue a career where she can positively influence healthcare organizations and patient outcomes. Her future goals include improving the efficiency and quality of healthcare services while continuing to grow as a leader in her field.

LANGSTON UNIVERSITY

Jaylin Wilson

Major: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management

Jaylin Wilson is a high-achieving junior at Langston University’s School of Business, majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management. He currently holds an outstanding 3.95 GPA and is recognized as an Edwin P. McCabe Honor Student and Regent’s Scholar, consistently earning placement on the President’s and Dean’s Lists. 

A proven campus leader, Jaylin serves as the Senate Secretary for the Student Government Association, where he supports fiscal oversight and governance operations. He is actively engaged in the Scholars Club, contributing to 
community service initiatives, including food drives and outreach programs. He participates in DECA, where he connects with industry professionals to strengthen his leadership and career readiness. 

Jaylin brings both technical skill and real-world experience to his academic journey. His background includes work in robotics development and certifications in precision measurement and computer-integrated manufacturing, demonstrating a strong foundation in analytical thinking and operational excellence. 

With a passion for supply chain innovation and a commitment to excellence, Jaylin represents the next generation of business leaders prepared to drive efficiency, resilience, and impact in today’s global economy. 

OKLAHOMA BAPTIST UNIVERSITY

Andrew Branham

Major: Finance

Andrew Branham is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance at Oklahoma Baptist University. Andrew grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma and chose to attend OBU for its faith-integrated curriculum. 

Around campus, Andrew seeks any opportunity to develop his leadership skills. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Native American Student Association and Vice President of his fraternity, demonstrating a strong commitment to organizational leadership. Within his years of attending OBU, Andrew spent one summer as a white-water river rafting guide in northern California where he developed strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities in high-pressure environments. In the subsequent summer, he interned with an accounting firm, where he learned practical accounting principles while gaining hands-on technical experience.   

Andrew’s long-term goal is to bring financial services to communities where significant and visible growth can be made. Andrew would also like to express gratitude towards The Economic Club of Oklahoma for its generosity as he enters his senior year. 

OKLAHOMA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY

Marko Ischenko

Major: Finance

Marko Ishchenko is a Finance major pursuing the CFP track, bringing with him a remarkable journey from Kyiv, Ukraine, to the United States. As an alumnus of the Future Leaders Exchange Program, a competitive scholarship and cultural exchange initiative sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Marko has demonstrated from an early age the drive, adaptability, and leadership that define everything he does.  Academically, Marko maintains a 3.8 GPA and serves as an Analyst for his university's Student Investment Fund and has been nominated for the role of President. 

Marko has a passion for finance as well as a calling to serve others. For Marko, becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ is the most meaningful way he knows to make a real difference in people's lives.  Upon graduation, Marko plans to obtain his Series 7, Series 66, and CFP® certifications and build his career at an independent RIA firm, where he can serve clients with integrity and purpose.

OKLAHOMA CITY UNIVERSITY

Beau Tranter

Major: Economics

Beau Tranter is a rising senior at the Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University, majoring in Economics and maintaining a 3.9 GPA. A member of the University Honors Program, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence while serving as a key member of the Oklahoma City University men’s basketball team.

Beau’s dedication in the classroom has earned him recognition as a SAC Scholar Athlete, Academic All-SAC honoree, and member of the SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll. His academic interests focus on how data analysis can help inform economic policy and financial decision-making.

He is pursuing opportunities in financial analysis where he can apply his analytical abilities to real-world challenges. Beau continues to build a strong foundation for his future and is honored to be recognized by the Economic Club of Oklahoma.

OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY

Elliot White

Major: Economics, Pre-Law

Elliot is a junior at Oklahoma State University from Texarkana, Texas, studying Economics with a concentration in Pre-Law. She is actively involved on campus, serving as President of the OSU Debate Club and as a member of the Economics Society. She also enjoys working as a Teaching Assistant for Microeconomic Principles of Business.

In her free time, she is a member of an Angel Quilting group, where she creates blankets for cancer patients. She also enjoys playing the accordion and making mixed media artwork. After graduation, she plans to attend law school and pursue a career as a criminal prosecutor, with the goal of serving the public and advocating for justice for those who need it most.

SOUTHERN NAZARENE UNIVERSITY

Cody Collins

Major: Finance

Cody Collins grew up in the Bethany and Piedmont areas and is currently working towards a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Southern Nazarene University.

He is a leader on his campus, serving as an officer for the School of Business Student Board of Directors and a member of the SNU Student Investments Club. He has been honored as a Presidential Leadership Scholar for the past 3 years.

In addition to his leadership on campus, Cody is also very involved in his local community. He has served as a youth pastor at Crossover Church in Piedmont for the past two years and as a member of the executive staff and a team leader for Super Summer Leadership Camp. He also serves as the president of the Commons Club.

UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL OKLAHOMA

Paige Jencik

Major: Economics & International Business
Paige is from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and is a double major in Economics and International Business with a minor in French at the University of Central Oklahoma. She prioritizes her academics and involvement on campus, which has led her to becoming a Senator for the University of Central Oklahoma’s Student Association, the Treasurer for the Economics and International Business Club, a manager for the university’s Rainbow Six Siege E-Sports Team, as well as participation on the College of Business Dean’s Student Advisory Council. Additionally, she is a research assistant for the Central Policy Institute on campus while working on another research project with my colleague that has been accepted at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research in Richmond, VA. Her academic success has further led her to be in Beta Gamma Sigma and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Throughout her time at university, she has maintained a 4.00 GPA, leading her to consistently be on the President’s Honor Roll.
 
Post college, in addition to a master’s degree, she intends to pursue a law degree specializing in antitrust and regulatory law. She is sincerely honored to be a recipient of this scholarship and is very appreciative to the Economic Club of Oklahoma and the University of Central Oklahoma’s College of Business.

UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA

Avery Ravech

Major: Economics & Finance

Avery Ravech is a junior at the University of Oklahoma from Hopkinton, MA, currently majoring in Economics and Finance within the Michael F. Price College of Business and minoring in Political Science. Avery is a member of the OU Honors College where he has been able to immerse himself in honors-level coursework and research. Avery has maintained a 4.0 GPA during his time at OU, showing his dedication to academics.

Outside of the classroom, Avery has taken on multiple leadership positions on campus. He is in his third year on the Economics Club's Executive Team, currently serving as President. He also serves as Vice Chair of Marketing for the Integrity Council, coordinating the organization's marketing efforts. Avery is an Associate in the JCPenney Leadership Program and also a member of the OU Sports Business Association.

Avery currently interns at Visit Norman as a Sales and Marketing Intern, gaining professional experience planning and coordinating events. He also works in the University of Oklahoma Admissions and Recruitment Student Call Center. Post-graduation, Avery hopes to work in data analytics and obtain his master's degree.
